Bespoke basketry was born out of demand for our rattan woven baskets and trays, it then snowballed from there as people loved them so much they started asking for custom sized bespoke baskets and tray to fit everything from kitchen draws to tv cabinets.
Coastal Villa
is our homeware brand where it all started, we sell all things rattan and homeware related designed by us they are all products we love and have nurtured, we decided we needed a dedicated team to be able to speak to clients understand their needs and offer them some stunning high quality bespoke rattan basketry and trays!
All operations are in-house so you can be sure that we can control every step of the process so you can feel very much apart of you order and understand the process. Where are We?
Patrick, Sania and the workshop crafters are in Bali, the distribution and finishing of your custom made to measure order are in the UK, Harmonie sends out all of our orders and will keep you informed of when your order will be dispatched and we take care of the rest! We are trying to build a personalised human business where we can make a difference to peoples homes and the way it makes them feel, our goal is to have sustainable products with liveable wages for our employees, we would love for you to be apart of our journey and get an amazing unique product our of it too that will last for years to come!
About Business
Our business is all about rattan we can't get live without the stuff! It s a type of palm tree that is commonly used for furniture production due to its strong, durable, and flexible stems. It is considered to be a sustainable resource because it is a fast-growing plant that can be harvested without damaging the ecosystem. We use non toxic practices of our colour washes and finishing we can create any colour basket or tray that you want though we do have 4 primary base colours dark brown, honey brown, white wash and Natural. Not only is our work aesthetic, it is strong! The strength of the weaves is so tight and sturdy it can carry/house any objects you want to organise in your baskets, trays or draws at home!
